I have been busy with my Game Developers course from Train2Game for about 2 months now and I am progressing nicely. There has been a lot of negativity towards the course and the company offering it which has lead to further accusations of this being a scam ... reference has even been even made to Watchdog. Well if this is a scam then this has to be the most elaborate scam I have ever seen, I am about to enter Section 2 of the course, I have submitted 10 TMAs (Tutor Marked Assignments) 1 for the introduction part of the course, and 3 per part for the 3 different parts of Section 1 of the course. I have received colour printed training material that is well bound and definitely professionally printed (i.e. not off some inkjet printer in some persons basement). Furthermore I have received professionally made DVDs containing software and course material at each stage of entering a new section of the course. I also received a professionally made Introduction DVD video when I signed up, which I watched and definitely was well thought out and seemed to have the correct people in the DVD. Not too mention all the official documentation and rather impressive student folder from "The Training Specialists" ... all this leads me to believe that if this was a scam then it is an amazingly elaborate scam. I am also in the fortuitous situation to work with and be friends with another guy ("Dr Deth") who is also on this course and he is a couple of sections ahead of me on the course, so we compare notes on a regular basis. So to the naysayers out there ... I recommend you take your "so called proof" to the authorities ... I doubt you will because you don't have any. |
